Do any of you have trouble getting yours to light?? I finally sent mine in for repair and they replaced the striker but it still takes me 10 or 20 attempts to get it to light. If I put my eye close to the view hole in the top it looks like it flickers on and goes out several times before it catches fire.
Really works well, just hard to get lit.

Must be defective, I usually hit my start button 2 or 3 times and its up and running.

How long do the elements last in them?

I don't know I've had mine about 3 years
