So what kind of doctor tells your wife they can walk and even run with a broken foot like this:
Here's the story cause I know you're going to ask. My wife kicked me and injured her foot. No, just kidding. My wife was painting the bathroom ceiling and stepped off the side of the tub onto where she thought a stool was. And oops, down she went.
Anyway, after it happens, she tells me it kinda hurts and maybe she sprained the ankle. She says, she'll talk to her doctor at her appt. she already had scheduled last Thursday 4 days after the incident. Well, they take an x-ray and say, wow, that's a spiral fracture, you need to see a specialist. Well today I take her to a specialist, and he says, yeah well, that looks nice, don't look too bad, just wear tight shoes and do whatever you feel you can. Wifey is a runner so she asks about that, and the doctor say, yeah, no problem. Run, walk, do anything you normally do, as long as you can stand the pain! WHAT! He says, your body will tell you what you can do. Well, telling wifey that means she will be doing a Triathlon in, I'm guessing" two weeks! This is nuts. Just don't seem right to me. I mean, it's broken clean through, the long way at that! I don't get it.
