That's the Pitts. Happened to me too. Fortunately I was approaching geezerdom, so I went ahead and started my retirement. No regrets.

SOONER OR LATER THEY GONNA DO THIS ONE TO MANY TIMES . MAYBE IT IS THIS TIME . I GOT SEVERANCE FOR AWHILE AND INSURANCE FOR 6 MONTHS . BY THE I SHOULD HAVE THINGS FIGURED OUT SOMEWHAT . THE GOOD LORD HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF ME A LONG TIME AND HE WILL CONTINUE . THEY WERE KILLING ME ANYWAY AND I WAS TOO STUBBORN TO QUIT . MAYBE I CAN GET SOME REST . if you gave me three guesses who you worked for gp would have been one of them... had a plant in oxford i called on for years and the same thing happened down there. when the ax fell it fell hard on a lot of good folks...there is still have a small mellomene plant there but not sure if they still own it or not. good luck bud....
They sold our division off before koch bought them . I worked for the distribution division .
We got a new plant coming into L'ville now. They are moving into the old GP facility. I hear they into backer boarding for concrete and such. You right about GP putting the crunch on L'ville. Lost a plywood, particle board, and a chemical plant. Hundreds of jobs
