Heck naw, go catch some fesh man.
I fish alot of different waters and different colors work better at certain lakes, bet I will pull cranks on 10 different lakes this summer and none of em seem to like the same color the best. Is what it is I guess.

Windstone, I was pushing 3 trolling rods 12' long with 1 1/2 ounce of barrel sinkers, swivel tied below the sinkers and a 6' leader tied to the other end of the swivel, then a snaplock swivel at the end of the leader hooked to a Bandit Sometime I would have 3 crappie on at the same time! Now how much more work than that do you want. You have great depth control cause the weight takes the bandit down to the depth you want to fish. I was reading fish at 15ft.My pole was 12'. I let the sinker down to the end of my rod handle then pull out 2 to 3 more feet of line and I was on the money!Them blacks and pinks are catching them!
I made a 2 arm kinda umbrella rig out of 1/8 welding rod with 2 30in. leaders attached to the cranks. It had about a 8 in. spread, and it actually caught 2 at one time the first time I tried it.
