me out on this. I have a 898 and had the ducer mounted on the TM and it worked fine until a incident pulled the wires out of the ducer Well I purchased a new one and today was the first time I have gotten to use it on the water. Everything seems to work fine except the SI one side looks fine and the other side is very dim and can hardly see it. I was wandering if anyone had this to happen to them and if so what was the cause and cure ?

If I were you....I would contact HB and ask them....quite possible the new ducer may not be any good.
