    I bought one Larry but never put it on(wouldn't be able to close my garage door).

    Larry I put one on my old 16 fter with 40 HP mariner. I noticed a big difference time to plane, transom lifted a little higher in the water and would run more level at reduced throttle than before. Hope this helps some.

    Maj, which one did you get ? as mentioned the 2 Im lookin at are no drill models and I don't want anymore holes down there

    I had the sting ray III on a 90 hp merc, it would launch my 19ft tracker up on plane with that thing on there

    none are worth a darn except for the one from Bobs Marine imo and it works great.

    The SE Sport 300 has worked better for me than any of the others.....you have to drill four holes but thats no big deal.
