Gonna take a hose and motor flusher and wash it down throughly after each time in the salt water.

That's a good idea. I also stop on the way home at a large car wash DIY and soak the boat and carpet down with their soap and the trailer. Then use their tire cleaner on wheels and axle. High pressure clean the whole boat and carpet after brushing the soaked in soap.
Stop at a lake on way home and leave tie downs on and back in lake with plug out. Run my bilge pump and aerator pumps while trailer and bunks are soaking in the fresh water. Run big motor also. Been doing this for 4 years now on a Triton TS18 and galvanized trailer and not one spot you can find shows any saltwater stress. Spray some WD40 or that red terminal protector spray on all the battery connections before and after too. Good luck and have fun !
+10000 Once the water get warm coming out the pee hole, I let it run for about 10-15 minutes. Gives the salt plenty of time to dissolve. Wash your TM down REAL GOOD but don't use a Huigh pressure sprayer. Just normal water hose pressure. It can push salt water inside the housing if you hit it with a high pressure hose. Same for your reels, I put the m in a big cooler and let it run for 20-30 minutes, then leave them to soak overnight or a couple days. Hit them with some oil when their all dry. No problems yet with the way I been doing it
Thanks for the tips Shine Runner and DD.
Hushup Rip before I come give you a smooch on the cheek. LOL
