We caught 10 pounds by 7:00 trolling double minnow rigs in the Sawdust Pile. We culled up ounces the rest of the day to get to 10.41 and came in 7th. On Saturday we headed right back to the Sawdust pile but the fish were either gone or had lockjaw. After 45 minutes we had one fish in the well that weighed about a pound. The wind got up and the rollers started! We switched over to single pole jig fishing and did that the rest of the day. I know after fishing all day Saturday in those 20+ mph winds there is no better boat than a Ranger. We were the only boat out in the middle of the lake fishing the old lake beds and contrary to some other reports we didn't hit a single piece of rebar. Waves were coming over the front of the boat but we were able to hold it in place with the MK 36v 101. We caught 40+ fish jig fishing and came in with 9.85 which was enough for 9th place and we came in 5th overall.
