In the early days.....a FJ was always held the Saturday of camp.....so they picked the site......then in later years the members spoke and did not want to fish a FJ on that Saturday because some of the ones doing the cooking said that fishing a tourney and cooking the same day was too much. So I guess things are changing. What every the majority wants to do sure suits me.......I can eat fish most anywhere lol. Anybody up for a summer camp?Quote:

Mary and I plan to come if it's in Grenada, but if the majority want it somewhere else, that would be great as well. I haven't been able to make many in the past, but look forward to more in the future..
Chris, I only see 8 people on that list that continue to come to camp, including Taylor and Pete who were with me.
There is a constant turnover. New faces = new friends.
And new people to mess with lok
My first year was 2008 I think but I've had crap going on the last 3. 2 weddings n a vacation
The one I've been able to go to was pretty good (all the others have been scheduled on drill weekends or I was out of the country) but I do know of one individual that told me he would never go to another camp because a couple guys really made him feel like he wasn't welcome.

Be a bigger A in front of them next time. I haven't seen a contest for that role yet.
On another forum, another state for a camp n fish weekend I think every preacher in the area was there. 6 Mississippi boys won't be going again. Some of the members told us we weren't welcomed to return.
