I pull one of these behind the boat to scale my fish. Does about 20-25 gills at a time. Drag it on plane for a couple hunnert yards or so and reload!!!!! I use 12-15' of rope on it. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/05/21/4apu2yne.jpg

Those things work very well, you just can't put a whole bunch in at one time. Also use a good strong rope, I know who lost one.
Get the elec. one made by bear claw.
It'll do about 20 or gills so at a time. Only takes a few minutes. I'll remember to put a stout rope on her next time.Quote:
