Public ramps at Lake Ferguson?

Have any of yall fished Lake Ferguson lately. How safe are the ramps? Do police/security ride through there a lot. Do you feel safe leaving your truck parked that close to downtown Greenville and the casino? I was thinking about doing some Bream fishing over the next couple of weeks, and I have not fished Ferguson in probably 25 years.........

fish there quite a bit, never had a problem..........there's always traffic there, people coming and going. Never seen police or security, and in 35 years seen ONE game warden there once, lol.

Do you use the large ramp where the wharf used to be, or the smaller ramp north of the casino?

both, depending on traffic...........with the river this high, you can put in anywhere along the waterfront. When there are a lot of boats or a tournament, we use the new landing to the north.

It's been a while since I was there but I always used the big landing next to the casinos. It didn't feel very safe anywhere around town but there was a lot of traffic at that ramp. I figured if you were gonna have trouble it would be at a ramp that had the least amount of witnesses.

Used to fish there alot for bream. Always launched at the casinos and never had any trouble, had several friends launch north of casino whose trucks got broken into several times tho. I used to see police very often at the casino launch.

Well, Ima give em a try Saturday morning. May try Little Eagle Sunday. Rode over and looked at it last weekend, and there was an 8 foot gator sunning right on the boat landing!!!!!
