Enid fishing partner

I was in trouble when I left the house Thursday morning with my son because he wanted to go catch a fish. Well he called me Thursday night an told me to come get him because his T-ball game was cancelled because the fields were muddy.... So I got my partner to swing by my house and pick him up Friday morning on his way up to Enid.
This was him first thing Saturday morning


Then once the sun got up he came alive!! We put him to running the trolling motor...and he did pretty good for a 4 year old. Only rule we gave him was DON'T push the rabbit!!

Then we let him reel in some fish when we were pulling jigs. He wanted to take this one home!!

Then it was the weigh in time. We missed the "pay zone"the crappie.com tournament by a little bit, but did manage hang in the top 15 in the magnolia crappie club tournament. Magnolia crappie club gave him a new fishing pole and a hat, and and he's been telling everyone he won the tournament !! LOL matter of fact, he's been telling stories about the tournament I don't remember?? LOL I think the boy is gonna be a fisherman.... He can already lie like one.

He told me he was fishing every one of them from now on, so y'all better look out!!
He took his cut, my cut, and my partners cut of the money and is stocking up his tackle box.

I enjoyed visiting with y'all too.
I won't be fishing the C.C or the MCC championships. I didn't fish but a couple of each this year. Most All tournaments dates fall when I'm at work.
