jack plate advice please

$ 1300.00 worth of tiller handle one time is all it takes !! boy's this is sum good advise for all your outboards,,,,, who wants to look at the prop spinning in the floor of the boat, when just a fraction of a second ago,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the handle end of it was in yo hand !! some more good advise is insurance !!

On my wareagle I have a tiller handle johnson 40hp...has manual hydraulic tilt I think. I have hit stumps before that almost ripped my arm off, lol...don't remembet it giving any, only snatching the tiller handle from my grip.

Best advice......slow in unfamiliar waters. Better advice....slow in any waters. The fish still will be there when you get there, and you will catch more in the lake than in the shop replacing motor.........

Want to go fast, go hang out with the bass boys!!!!

Well, I don't really want to go fast all the time but I DO want to be able to ease over a log or stump etc. Thanks for the advice guys...really appreciate it!
