    Default cheap(ish) baitcasting reels???

I have been thinking about upgrading my reels from my spinning reels to baitcasters. Anybody seen a really good deal on some baitcasters with thumb bars? Not looking to pay 40 or 50 bucks for crappie reels...... What do you guys use? Where did you get them?

Explain..... Really. I value your input here. I fished with Reese a couple of time last fall, and the baitcaster with thumb bar sure made landing fish a breeze. Could let out enough line to bring fish right to the side of the boat. Almost made a landing net un-needed.

I use a good spinning reel with a good drag and just strip a handful of line when needed. I never understood the $20,000+ boat, $30,000+ truck, $3,000+ electronics, $1,500+ trolling motor; but give me the cheapest baitcaster I can find.
Regardless of my opinion, get something you have faith in and go fish!

The sigma Shakespeare reels have 6 BBs. I have 16 of them and they work great.
