    My son and I are going to the Butla to break in my new outboard. Won't be able to fish just boat ride all day for 10 hrs.Everybody be safe if you are out fishing and I'll see you guys and gals at Enid next Friday! Have a Blessed Day

    I always do the "run it like you're goin to run it" during break in with no problems. Let it warm up, then run it how you're gonna for a couple minutes, then cool down, repeat. Them rings ain't hardly gonna seat running at idle

    ^^ great advice! That way when it blows up and you take it back to dealer they will hook it up to the computer and tell you your warranty is void. You doing the right thing, just ask Brm.

    I sure wouldn't know about motor break in---never seen one that new
