    Default Don't laugh

if you see me trying to launch at Enid next week! We're heading down this Saturday but Paul has to come back home to work Mon-Thurs. I'll be there camping all week with my Mom and the pooches. We've got our system down pat - he does ramp duty and I do boat launch/load duty, but it's gonna be me flying solo. I can back a boat trailer, but I'm nowhere near as good as he is, so turn your heads when you laugh at my attempts! If I could only teach Charlie how to drive!!

Only one way to learn.....and that's to do it!!! I'm sure I've been laughed at or gotten cursed at for being slow or in the way, but I finally got it down pat and pretty good at it now. You can do it!!

Hey girl. You staying in the campgrounds? If so, you may can just pull it up on the bank and tire it off. just take plenty of extension cord from the TM recharging. I've done it at Grenada and Enid

In case BillBob is not available, a good tip I use is,,,, hold ur hand on the bottom part of the steering wheel, move ur hand in the direction u want the trailer to go.. I find it hard to turn around any more and look out the back glass. So I use the mirrors and this method works for me...

Thanks, y'all. My biggest problem is when I lose sight of the trailer breaking over the top of the ramp. Just need more practice.

Don't feel bad--I'm still getting used to backing down with the F250--just ask Jigflinger Besides least you will have the boat with you!!!
