Is there a way to get rid of em besides bein out in the yard with a badminton racket slicing em in half?

There's other ways, but that way is the most fun. One of my internet buds on our SC hunting forum shoots them with a high power pellet rifle. Bee Season, he calls it.

when you see em go into their hole that they been borin into your wood, back fill em in with some caulking of your choice/ color prefrence..... they cant bore backwards i.e they gotta have a drink and if their butts stuck in there they aint gettin it !! hard to find their nest... but gas works best if you do !!

I kill most of em right when they come around from the side of the house headin to the porch to bore
