DonDon.. I've seen them checking fish several times this year on Barnett at the ramp And twice on the water. Matter of fact got a friend that just loaded up his boat and had to let me go to talk to the GW. I too wish it had more enforcement, but they're spread thin around here.
Every one has a responsibility, no, a duty, to give the wardens all the help they can to stop this. While it is correct that the wardens write the citations, we fishermen/women, need to step up and be counted. Every time someone witnesses such actions and does not do their duty as citizens, they are condoning the actions. Folks we have the power to stop this crap. No matter what state you're from we all share that responsibility and duty to protect the resources of whatever state we are fishing in. It is a pain sometimes being a citizen with responsibility but the end result is we stop all this poaching and have a better environment. We all have cell phones. Let's get involved for the good of the resource and ourselves.
Just in case you haven't seen it: This is one of my pet peeves. I keep the wardens on speed dial. And don't care who knows it. Let me see someone poaching, be assured I am calling the law.

Outlaws don't use ramps. I know of several guys who have been double and triple dipping every day... single pole spawn fishermen.

Nothing to be done...I didn't see them, they were just bragging about it. Besides...I'm related to one of the gewbers. Even if you see someone leave and come back, there is nothing you can do.Quote:
