I can still express my opinion. I didn't have the chance to go with only one days notice. I will be at the meeting here in Jackson at their headquarters on the 17th though. Will you?"?

What is the address of the" Commission" or the name of the commission? I will write them a letter stating my opinion. Hopefully they will consider it even though I live out of state. As majflyboy said " they are US Corps of Engineer lakes, not State of MS lakes".
I would think that they would be just as if not more concerned about your opinion as a out of state fisherman. They are concerned enough that during their creel surveys one of the first questions is ( how much do you think you spend to come here and fish for a day ) it sure can't hurt to write a letter.
I could be wrong but I think the mere fact that we were willing to show up and make comments not just send emails will have some impact.
Don't take me the wrong way. Yes, the out of state license do, and are greatly appreciated.
The out of staters should be heard because they bought a license not because they pay federal taxes and its federal property. If it was up to the Feds (COE) there wouldn't be a fish in the lake.
