Default Looking for transducer for HB 898

I had cut this last year and got it put back together and it seemed to work right, yesterday in rough water my TM came loose and fell down while I was running bout 35 didn't break the shaft or pull loose but did bend the mount on the boat but I think a sledge hammer will take care of that LOL but this morning I notice that the bottom was not defined as well and the temp was way off, so I guess its time to replace it . Thought I would ask here before I went a bought a new one, I am gonna have to order it as no one around me has one. Was hoping someone might have one that they didn't use or used but replace it with the 360 or something

    thanks for looking

Your TM won't do that if you will slde the depth collar down to the motor and tighten it down each time you stow it......either that or get a ram mount for your terrova shaft, or do like I did and buy a hold down bracket and strap from EZ. Torch has a terrove laying on the bottom of the lake when this happened to him it ripped the whole thing off the boat.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

You know G, I have one of Ez's hold down bracket, but they don't work if you don't have them attached

I like that idea but I cant really tell much by the picture. did you drill a hole in the bottom of the shaft to feed the cable thru and then another at the top ??

Your supposed to just glue the cable inside the groove or chanel on the out side of the shaft Larry....then put the TM back together. It will work this way with a HB cable but not with a Lowrance. satdoc has a link to a thread that shows a step by step on this.
