My adventures today

[Crappiemaniac]

Son got off late so we didn't go to gums crossing today. We ended up going over to hurricane landing and do a little bank fishing. Only waded around in the shallow grass. Since we didn't have chest waders we didn't get very deep. Crappie were not up that shallow but the carp and gar were everywhere. This carp swam right between my brothers legs and he grabbed it. We called him the carp wrangler which could be a new tv show with all the splashing going on.



We did catch some white bass in the creek leading to the 2nd ramp. The ramp out by the Indian mound was full of boat trailers even though a large part of the road is under water. We made it out there but a few more inches deeper and it will be to deep for a 2 wheel drive Chevy. Here is a few pics from today.
