I get a lot from Clays Bait Shop in Tupelo.....he has a local that pours them for him. He has all types.
Get some #7 swivels and some lead. I'll bring my molds and pot to spring camp.
Canebreaker, is pouring your own leads economical? Once you factor in the molds and equipment/ startup expense?
Mo, if you bought a few more of those sinkers you will have bought a mold. And I bet you know someone who has a melter for pouring weights, bullets or something. If you sold some just to guys on here at a cheap price over a period of time you would pay for most of your outlay.
My grandfather had all the stuff, he tied hair jigs before he passed. I think I have something that looks like a soup ladel, he melted his on a propane burner, I probably just need a mold then. I may look into getting a larger mold, around 2-4oz for when I push cranks... Those jokers are spensive(4oz)
They make an in line mold that I like for cranks, 3 oz
