    Hey Scott.....do it before you splice your cable back together....that way you won't have to take your motor apart.

    I went ahead and ordered a new transducer today and I'm gonna try to fix this one to have as a spare. I'm scared to take the TM apart, I always have parts left over.

    Piece of cake, Scott. Two people can do it in a half hour or less. I think that it took Feelay and I about 30 minutes.
