I'd imagine fishes of all species go through. Usta get green carp by the tubfull outa Gremada spillway on jigs.

Dylan explained his results a little better while fishing yesterday. Enid, due to the setup of the lake, loses the highest # of fish. He had 8 tagged fish that were released at the midpoint of the lake, and within 2 to 3 weeks, the fish were out the spillway. The fish are sucked out in cold weather, when they sit near the bottom and are very sluggish. When they are drawing water after a heavy rain, the little bit of current is too much for the crappie and drags him to the dam. As they near the dam, their bodies can't fight the strengthening current and out they go. He said on a "perfect storm" year, with high water and cold temps, as much as 50% of the fish could go out the dam at Enid. He said the other lakes weren't as bad, probably only losing 5-15% on average, with worst case being +/- 30%

I caught a fish Friday in the lower that had his whole back skinned and banged up. I know he was pulled through the gates.

The only time I fished the lower lake this year I caught this one that had a big spot taken off his side from coming through the hole.

Same here. The couple of big ones I've caught on the lower looked a bit rough.

I have caught a bunch of fish on lower Sardis with scrapes and cuts. Never really seen this within the reservoirs.
