On a f250 gasser---put the correct size tires on it. The 11mpg had some miles with the old tires. Put 20 gallons in yesterday (all on the new tires) and got 13mpg. That's with intown and hwy. Never thought 13mpg would make me happy:D

Drive downhill a lot, hard to do in the delta, but it works in the hills haha. Every MPG helps
You can also take the junk out, even on bigger rigs, and gain some mpgs. I kind of chuckle when I see some of the all hat and no cattle kind of guys with 20' of chain, a couple of batteries, a slam-full tool box, a couple bags of sand and everything else piled in the bed of a truck. Those couple of hundred pounds extra add up.
Biggest load taken out of the truck was big h hahahaha
