    WHEWWW, stil costly. last one I had done was over $400 cause it was IN the fuel tank

    They ain't bad to put in dd... Just take 8 bolts out and get a couple guys to help you pick the bed up and slip a new pump in, done in 2 hours, $200 fuel pump!

    Pump would have been 200 if I bought it bit since I got sick had to get it done. Was cheaper than the tires bit again I'm still ahead. The cellar told me he'd give me my money back on what I paid for the truck:D. He did mention something about snack cake crumbs but I was in a hurry:D

    Good deal mike glad you got it running. That sounds like a heck of a deal. Buy it, spend a thousand,sell it back for same money. I'd take a deal like that every day.

    That old fuel pump wasn't used to the truck sitting level.....it could only pump with a big lean to the left.......I think they call that the Little Debbie Syndrom
