Cabela's DepthMaster II Line counter trolling reels on sale for $34.99 regular $54.99
Cabela's: Cabela's DepthMaster® II Linecounter Trolling Reels
Don't know anything about them but they are cheap.
Wish they would be on sale in about 5 months. I want to try pulling crankbaits this summer. But I want to try it with the equip. I have to see if I like it before I invest a bunch o money.
If you guys buy some let me know how they are... These are some of the cheapest ones I've found even when not on sale.

Rabbit go to Northwoods tackle and look at the Okuma Magda ma 20 for 28.00. Work good for Crappie and best price your going to find.
We was typing at same time Wilbur. Yes the Magda pro. That MA is a new one I think. It has bushings instead of bearings.

Good... I use 14' BnM PST's with small spinning reels for trolling. Planning on trying bandits with this setup. If I like it put some line counting reels on and possibly getting some rods just for bandits later.
You will love it.

They advertise these reels on sale, but they have been on sale for that same price forever. I bought two of them last summer at that price and have noticed them listed on most every sale Cabelas has. The reels are fine but on both of mine the line counter sticks very frequently and you have to keep hitting the reset button to get it to work. If you read the customer reviews, this seems to be a common problem. I also have two of the Okuma Madga reels which are cheaper and seem more solid.
