What did the Indians use Indian Mounds for in there day? This was an arguement between two CC.comers all the way home from Washington two weeks ago. I was a lone by stander in the truck listening to it for 2.5hrs.

Burial of the deceased if I am correct Big H. There is one about 20 miles south of us close to Kemper County.

It was a ceremonial thing. The big shots could stand above all the other injuns when they had a get together. That's what the ones in Moundville, AL were for anyway.
