    Default My latest boat idea/project

Called the law enforcment division at MDWFP and ask if this idea was legal, they said it sure was legal and a good idea to boot.
Bought the 9 bulb hyper brite LEDs and went to work mounting them in the bump strip and wireing them into the exsisting nave lite wireing, now all nav lites are on at the flip of a switch without haveing to dig out the lite poles.

Very nice....if only every boater knew what they were for and how to use them. Mine are on either side of my center console, and on at flip of switch, also. What about anchor light? Still on a pole? Have mine on top of console t-top.

Anchor lite is mounted on top of engine cowel on a flip up pole and wired the same as front. Sat, when You wana do them, bought the LEDs on ebay, it had 36in. of wire already on it, cost about $12.00 a set, have to order the red and green seperate, they dont come in a kit.
