    Default Are crawfish in season yet?


    Looking to buy some already cooked or live crawfish around Tupelo area. Anybody know anybody or anything?

    well if the yearly mudbug stand at the corner of goodman and malone here in southaven/olive branch is any indication, yes it is. saw them there for the first time this year this past saturday....

    Another stand at Hwy 51 and Church rd. It's been there for the last 3 weeks. Ours won't be ready for a few months. These are shipped from the gulf coast. LA and TX.

    If they are cooked rite aint much peelin. Pull that head off then squeeze that tail and enjoy. Now if they arent cooked rite it can be a pain to get the goody outta the tail. I can eat a five gallon bucket of em. As long as I got a half a five gallon bucket of beer.

    They are easy to peel if they're fresh. We'll have our first boil the weekend of the paddys Day parade and I can't wait. BTW, If any of you Jackson area guys want some good but cheap Sausage to put in your crawfish or shrimp boil. Country Pleasin Sausage's store in Florence sells ends and pieces in a 10 lb box for a little over 10 bucks. I always volunteer to get the sausage LOL
