    What your going to do is ruin those deep cycle's if you don't start hooking up that charger as soon as you can after discharging them. Running them down then letting them sit 2/3 weeks is a no,no. SHAME SHAME

    I know that--had to get a new truck and extension cord first--ruined my other ones last time I pulled the boat out of the yard

    My 55 like yours that I had almost never showed 100%. Pulled cranks with my Glastron with the exact same set up you have fo 6 to 7 hours solid without running them completely down.

    heck no--haven't even heard a peep. Ask the detective the day after if I should be looking for a new truck he said yes--so I did new to me that is

    Mine usually shows good unless Im at 10 then it doesn't show anything I guess as long as the prop is turning I'm good to go

    You'll extend battery life a bunch by never discharging them below 50%, I'd imagine that's the one biggest cause of battery failure for marine batteries.

    I must have missed the part of KD's posting where he said he delayed charging batteries, and Cray's right, that just gives them time to sulphate.
