It's been roaring for a few weeks now and it was what I thought it was gonna be. The OTHER front wheel bearing. Everything is fixed now.
Got 2 new front wheel bearings assy's, both inner tie rods and a front end alignment.
You know, I hate shops. Ridgeland hit me up for $341 for a bearing and knew I wasn't gonna take it back there so when I got all my oil levels checked on the differential, tranny and everything else at another shop, I got them to tell me what that roaring sound was. They said it was the bearings but they said BOTH. Their mouths opened wide with a OH CRAP look when I told them I just had one changed out a couple weeks back.
They were gonna try and hit me up on both of them. They did tell me $240 to fix one and I'm sho glad I have a student that has all the tools.
Bearings were $109 and I paid him $50 to change them out. $159 is alot better than $240 and a whole lot better than the $341
