TOO MANY IDIOTS TO FEW BULLETS
Man I had tears in my eyes when I had to sell that truck. I miss trucking. Done it my whole life. Grew up in it and drove my first truck at age 13. Times have changed. To many steering wheel holders these days.

Containers was what I was doing for the last 4 years before I lost my sight. I was picking up at Btt when it happened. I was leased to intermodal cartage and run Columbus MS to Memphis hauling paper. May have seen you around the rail before.

To many driver problems? Pay them boys a living wage[/QUOTE]
Used to be able to run several trucks pay a driver, insurance, fuel, ect and still have enough left to make a decent living. But now it's hard to even make it driving yourself. Low mileage pay and fuel surcharge that don't keep up with the price of fuel.Tuff go these days. We actually made more money out of our shop working on other people's trucks but it got to where it was to hard to get folks to pay.
