if thats a groove the seal has cut in your axle you can get a speedi-sleeve made my chicago-rawhide that will fix it up if it becomes a problem.. you may be able to turn the seal around or get one thinner that will not ride in the existing groove.

Bearings (one per axle) are bathed in grease no problems so far. I did notice for greasing the ranger trail axle has a pin hole grease port and pin holes on the back side of the axle to lube the rear of the hub. I think its pretty cool

Those are replaceable shaft protectors you can get from ranger. I replaced mine not long ago. About 2 bucks from ranger.

Kdavid1 when you pump grease in the grease port it will come through the back bearing and out through the front bearing.

I tell ya what if the other side is as good as the fisrt I'm gonna be happy happy happy. Of course it is a pain when you tale something apart and it didn'tneed to be

Other side is done. Since I knew what I was looking at more on this other one I paid more attention to the greasing feature on the axle. It is way cool. If I had the dust caps I wouldn't have put the beating buddies back on

If you use the Bearing Buddies, pump the spindle full of grease ,then take out the zerk put the buddy on and pump it up with grease.
