Don't know about a party but I'm shooting for Sunday or Monday, weather permitting. Kinda worried about hooking up the brake system. Old brakes were removed by previous owner. Everything on the tongue end seems to be there but I don't know if it all will work. Never had a trailer with brakes before, so don't know much about them. I hear that bleeding may be a pain and I don't even know where to start that process. Jigflinger says he can come be straw boss, so maybe he can walk a dumb ole fireman through everything.
Carl here is a link to an owners manual for the brake actuator on my Ranger trailer. It gives the bleeding instructions near the end of the manual. Bleeding the system is just like bleeding the brakes on a car, except you use the push rod in the actuator instead of the brake pedal. http://www.pacifictrailers.com/index...ad&fileId=2975
Feelay, I picked up eight wooden blocks today. Got the jack and impact. Just don't have any impact sockets. Either day is good. The blocks are the ends they cut off cross ties.
I got a jack, jack stands impacts and plenty of sockets. Also if I can find it a hand vac that can be used for bleeding. Hopefully they blocked the lines and didnt drain all the fluid. Just shoot me a pm when you pick a day I'll bring my stuff over to. Can't never have to many tools.
I gotta get me one of those
I hate grease too
