Congrats on the purchase mo. Hope your happy with that combo setup. Seems like u got the best of both worlds. If u get a 24v I believe you would be happiest with a variable speed I had a non vs on mine and on 1 it would push me 1.4.

Thats what I had on my glass boat, 12 or 24 switch... def the way to go. May even break down and get on of the remote controlled piolt things everybody talks about

If your going to fish in the trees and bushes I would stick with a varible speed cable foot control TM

I still say you should have saved up for the mini-van boat.
