A timing belt change is not bad idea at that mileage if it has a belt and most of the smaller engines do. With the price he quoted I would be willing to bet he was planning on doing that as well, at least I hope so.

Alot of smll car enigines meet their demise due to this being neglected.

yes it included all the belts so he told me, but gonna do some more checking in the morning....

well, i guess i got the long and short of it now...:juggle

Timing belt wouldn't be lumped in with the other belts, that's a whole different thing. Kind of a big deal.
