1022, probably one of the most overated guns eva. get him a cz american. tack driver outta the box.......

I happen to love the 10/22 but who would ever spend $1500 on a .22? Geesh..

Send the money on what you want and be happy. Guns are an investment and holds its value better then most anything else. STOP TRYING TO BE CHEAP.

Now Val and Dixe rifles are SUPER FINE GUNS. But u got to come off you wallet.

I have a 10/22 and really like it for plinking. When it comes to tack driving...I have a bolt action tube fed Remington model 34. My grandfather bought it new in 1939 and it has passed down to me. It will shoot shorts, longs, whatever. No telling how many squirrels have lost their lives to that rifle.

Ifn he was gonna shoot iron sites this one aint bad either
