Default Made a score in town today

Had to go to town for a haircut and the 3rd and last shot of my grease job in my left knee for this 6 months and stopped by both WM's. At the downtown store the sporting goods manager had a buggy with some ammo that had just came in and the only 38 ammo he had was a case of Win PDX1 Defender 38+P and as I had no PD ammo for my GP100 I got a box, $27.79 total for 20 rds. Stopped by the one on the north side of town on the way home and he had 2 boxes of Win White Box 100 rds for $37.10 total up $.75 from the 3rd. Guy in line ahead of me was going to buy both boxes but when he found out I wanted one he let me have one. He went on the buy about $150 more of the Tulammo in various calibers. I was lucky. The manager at the old store said that they had received a memo yesterday that WM was NOT going to stop selling guns and ammo in spite of the rumors on the internet.

Good, I hope they don't buckle under Hussein Obama's pressure.

Went to our BPS earlier. No 22 period and almost ever ammo shelf was empty of every caliber.

I got a text the other day from another member. Sportsman's will stock some of their ammo in the morning, but will not stock the rest of the day. I called my son, 556 at $9. per 20. limit 3. Told me to get all I could. So I made 3 trips into the store. Then picked up my grand daughter from school. We returned and made 3 trips into the store. I was looking for new mags. for my pistol, have to be ordered. Online price is $10 cheaper for 1.

Cray, did you go to Desoto Defense?

I asked the guy ahead of me that let me have the box of 100 WWB because he bought a bunch of Tulammo how it shoot and he said OK for plinking, never used it. Do you think it will cycle a SR9c and/or be OK in a GP100. It sure is cheap to buy and they seem to have it when they have nothing else. Wouldn't want to harm my guns. I know it's not as good as others but if it goes bang.

I wouldn't put it in either of those Steve. It's good for AK's and SKS's though.
