    What size if the rod on that thing? 1/2 inch? Made of Stainless Steel?

    They're new holders by Driftmaster. Like the Tite Loc holders that Capps and Coleman endorse. Each rod holder bolts to your boat separately so you get to drill a bunch of holes in your boat.

    Default nope, NOT BAILING WIRE.

    Here's a quick sketch. Don't get much sturdier. I was gonna go with a 1/2 inch rod but they didn't have a 1/2 x 3/8 reducer coupling. I may switch it out later. I can for 20 bucks
