    Default Thinking of a truck gun

    And wondering about one of these if I can't find a cheap revolver in say 38. Sometimes you just have to leave a gun in your car/truck and I would cry if someone stole one of my Rugers. Put the mag cylinder when in town and practice with the 22lr;

    When I think of the situations that I might need to use a hand gun in a vehicle, I usually figure that I'd need one that would penetrate a car/truck window or door so I keep a much larger caliber in my truck.

    Get a Kel-Tec, you can get a P-11 for around $250-275 new, unless you're just wanting a wheel.

    Never had any problem with my Llama .380 penetrating truck/car doors or windows. Federal Hydra-shock bullets are wicked.

    I've got a Kel-Tec P-9 but it is strictly for concealed carry.

    I do think I like wheel guns the best. Like my GP100 better than my SR9c and like my Single 10 better than my 22/45 Lite. That S10 is a beautiful gun. I went over to a new friend that I meet at our LGS about 3 wks ago and as I was pulling out my guns to shoot his wife's eyes lit up when she saw my S10. That was what she wanted to shoot, but she shoot my Lite more accurately than the S10. Her husband is a wheel man. May go to a local gunsmith who sells cheap guns and see what he has. The SR9c is for carry, so far it goes bang every time I pull the trigger.

    My AMT .380 Backup saved my life and that of a buddy once down on Canal St in New Orleans, but still like bigger in the truck.

    I can't see the picture but i have a heritage 22/22mag change out the cylinders when needed . The 22lr shoot a lot better than the magnum chamber just my opinion . I can kill a snake with the lr . The mag doesn't seem to be a acurate . I also carry a much bigger in my truck . The 22 is for four wheeler riding in the summer months .
