Thoughts on snagging

I see post on here from some looking down at people for snagging. First off its legal and it is a lot harder then people make it out to be. If your trying to save the crappie then you should ban fishing during the spawn. That is when the real slaughter happens. Anyone with a stick and hook can catch them and don't even have to freeze to death to catch a few. Some folks can't afford a boat much less a 1200.00 side imaging fish finder which can be called cheating by some. 8-10 poles hanging out of the front of the boat running through a school you found on a fish finder don't seem fair at all to a crappie. Making a living by Taking folks fishing and sending them home with limits sometimes several per trip. And at times everyday of the week. That might not seem fair to some. With that said I like everyone and will catch fish by all the ways I mentioned and enjoy every minute of it. Y'all better be glad I lost most of my eyesight or I would really put a hurtin on them like I use to do and y'all wouldn't have any. LOL

After jan 27 I'll be doin whatever I have to do to catch some fish! But they're safe from me from the weekend before thanksgiving til last weekend in jan!

X2. As long as its legal. Don't judge others because they might be judging you. Besides have you seen the average natural lifespan of a crappie? Not very long 4-5 years at best. Some of these folks act like they are going live for ever. Once they reach 13-16 inches they don't have that much time left anyway.

Snagging is sorta like taking home a big girl from the club. I don't have anything against it but I sure ain't going to brag to my friends about it

$1200 for a side imaging? We use the good stuff here. Pffft

And FYI, not all of us find it so easy to bring home limits using 27 poles. Can I get an amen?

NOT MY THING BUT SOMEONE SHOULD CATCH THOSE FISH BEING SUCKED THROUGH THE SPILLWAY ! WE THREW MOST OF THEM BACK TWICE LAST SPRING .
