the corp dont care about the lakes and the fish or the fishermen in them. all they care about is keeping the Mississippi river flowing.

This statement is accurate, the big 4 have nothing to do with the Mississippi River flow. They are strictly flood control for the delta and areas down stream from the levys. They have a rule curve that they follow and will do what they can to stay in line with it. As far as caring about the fish or the fisherman you are dead on.

Well...... They do care about the fishermen when they can write rules contrary to State fish and game laws. Size and possession limits in particular.
