    For crappie yesterday. Maybe them getting stuck was just a coverup.last time I saw somebody pullin out that much lead it was for telephoning for catfish. Didn't new it worked for crappie.

    When I first looked I thought where did they get them waders. After looking more closely I see that them ain't waders. I bet Stan was freezing!

    That's what I had thought all along. Man I believe I woulda got down close to nothin so i woulda had some warm dry ones waitin on me

    Heck, that was the second time he waded. He tried to take the rope to KD1, but KD couldn't get his boat close enough. He sat in his boat for 3-4 hrs before we got to him, maybe longer. He still went fishing after we pulled him out!!!! He's a diehard I tell ya. I guess if ya can't feel yer feet, you don't know they're cold. Lol

    BTW, the Corp said they didn't own a boat that would reach him either. I'm glad they had some rope. Saved me a trip to Walmart in Batesville. I KNEW I was gettin him out no matter what!!!!! With 360' of rope, and only in 1.3' of water to pull in, I thought I was gonna have to go to Walmart and get 2 or 3 hunnert more feet of rope anyway.

    Happens a lot up on ky lake. A lot of us have a minkota deckhand installed. That way you can use a grab anchor and pull yourself 50' or so at a time. It's got me home more than a night or so. Cold but home.

    It's an electric anchor. Some of them are remote control.
