Shoot I like the idea of the artic armour being able to float ya.... Mite save up for them.
Be careful. I think some make do with the cheap stuff cause they don't WANT to drop the big bucks on the good stuff. HAD a set of the Frogg Toggs and got soaked. The parka was ok but the bibs leaked like a sieve.
Didn't the gewber ask for the good stuff when he started the thread?
I use a trash bag with holes cut for my arms and head. A small tarp also works well but they are pricey.
What is the difference and the 'plus' and not plus? Except the $20.Quote:

Im thinking about these, so would u wear layers under them? And if so, what size? I usually buy XL in most things, like a coat where i just have a shirt under it.
Attachment 110914Rees my Parka and Bibs are called the Squall line.
Just feesh nekid in the rain, that'll keep your clothes dry, drink whiskey to stay warm.
I have a friend who had the 100 MPH suit and he wore my Cabelas Guidewear one day and turned around and sold his 100 MPH and got the Guidewear, as far as the Frog Toggs I had a suit of it and it was a joke. Run across the lake doing about 50 mph in downpour with the Toggs on and see how wet you are underneath it when u stop. JMO. BTW if ya want warmth as Bill stated, get the Guidewear with the Thinsulate.
PM sent, Neon.

It is really pretty simple to understand. When you are sitting for long periods a bomber style jacket can get uncomfortable. If you unzip it a little from the bottom it cures that problem and the bibs still keep you dry. Hope that's clear enough to understand. Try it and find out.

GDG got a question, how does the Cabelas and 100 MPH compare in sizing? If I went to BPS and got sizing on theirs could I order Cabelas from that?
yall don't need no stinkin rain gear, do like i did, retire and only fish on bright sun shiney days. problem solved..:fish
In a video that I watched on the Artic Armor, A man and woman jumped in backwards and just laid there and floated. Now in really rough wave conditions I can't say how well it would keep you afloat but with a pfd you would be ok! If you fell overboard it could save your life if you didn't have a pfd on at the time.I'll see if I can find that video and post it!Arctic Armor, Arctic Armor Suit, Arctic Armor Jacket, Arctic Armor Bibs, Ice fishing suit, Ice Armor, Floating Jacket. I found the video. You be the judge!Says one suit will float 3 full grown adults!Could save your life. Most ice fishermen and woman don't wear a pfd and this comes in real handy.
Actually, it was just the reverse: pro quals then swapped to 100 mph. That's what I was basing my opinion on anyhow. Y'all are crazy or rich or maybe crazy rich to put that kind of money in em. Mine came from academy at something like 50 a piece. They are not goretex, but something similar. Cordura type putters. Fished twice all day in the rain an not a drop. Other than that, they cut the wind very well.

Thats pretty cool, I wore my HUSH HIDE in a tourney one time. Pouring down rain, temps fell into the 30s, never got cold or wet but they were soaked. Bet I would have sunk like a rock if I had fell in, havent had them back on when on the water, strictly hunting gear.
Ps, which one of y'all told ATM how to spell sieve?

Ok! Anyone on here that is feeling a little tense just slap me a couple times, call me some bad names, cause I don't want anyone to get into any trouble over some stupid rainware. Just PM me and let it all out and that will be that.Don't take this too personal, but I LOVE all you folks!!!:hatchet::Rofl
I'm supprised that you would make this rookie mistake WB.

Maj, you and your dang c.c searches will be the death of me. That's right he went bone dri to quals on account he would listen to me in the first place and get the 100 mph.
I ain't tense, but slapnabber is a Gewber.
FYI, I thing we oughta buy BRM some artic armor. If they'll float two, a dozen of us could just hang on to him till Feelay pics us up.
