    I don't like 1911's but to each their own. I drink glock kool aide and love it! My brother in law has the exact gun you are considering and its a great shooter.

    1911 is the best platform in my opion just not for a everyday carry. But like you said to each there own.

    Mine stays that way, but thats what i was wondering is his looking for a carry gun or nightstand gun. 1911 is hard to carry concealed

    My opinion is based on that as well as round capacity BigH . They are fine shooters and alot if folks love them. Just not my cup of tea.
