    My uncle bulit a homemade boat and he carried it to coast gaurd downtown memphis on river them have a small office there. They load it with sand bags to weight test it there in habor and gave his sticker and paper work.

    Local LEO can handle it with no prob, even give you a seriel type number to put on it.
    Neon, I was thinking a third float in the center, need to see how much weight I will be loading it up with. It needs to be s to keep the drift down as much as possible.

    I've had to be assigned HIN numbers before, not a big deal, just a hoop to jump through. No different than guys who build cars/bikes from scratch.
    I don't think pontoons have a reputation for that Rees
