Default need some help, microwave problem.

mine went ka-put yesterday and got to go get a new one pronto, like today. some i saw have vent grill across the front at the top and some do not. is one better than the other? is one brand better than others. they range in price from 200 to 1500 bucks. all i want to do is warm up stuff, make rotel, etc. it is the kind that mounts over the range and bolts into the bottom of the overhead cabinet... any suggestions.

Just an unrelated FYI.....NEVER attempt to repair a microwave yourself. I had a buddy who owned an Appliance Store, and warned me of that years ago. Said the "power tube" can put the smackdown on ya'.

We got a pretty good one at SAMs for bout 160. It's stainless, and a big one.
