They did hit it a lot hard this past weekend than the one before . I also noticed that there were a lot more smaller shad than the week before . Most i saw a week past was 4 to 6 inches long . There were some minnow size saturday . They were a lot more active . They hammered that jig was no doubt they wanted it . The weekend before they would just sorta suck it in and never move it . Could get a good hook set . Was no problem saturday . I'm just learning as i go . It is totally different in the winter .
