Found out first hand, wrote an article in the papers suggesting "savvy hunters" kill a limit of doves in the morning in Missouri and be in Tennessee by noon when their season opens for a second limit, got a call from the game warden the next Sunday, turns out the only thing you can't go state to state in one day and limit out on is federally regulated game, ie doves, ducks, geese, don't know of any freshwater fish that fall under that category, probably are some though. Got to write my first retraction, good stuff.
On the freezer bags of your catch in Mississippi or whatever the first state is your fishing I would write on there the date and location of the catch if I was traveling just in case. If you have licenses in both states I think you would be fine JMO
The law says you can have so many in possesion. Does not say where they are from. Just my two cents worth.:dono
If you are claiming to have caught a limit in another state, you need to have a valid license from that state where you say you caught them.
